Vacuum metallization has been applied intensively to the plastic industry to create contemporary appearance for today fast changing hand phone industry. The involvement of vacuum metallization changes the outlook of the plastic from pure painting to translucent paint with metal reflective appearance. The color and effect is fascinating. In order to cater for the needs for such change, the company has created a series of coating system that able to tailor for such needs
Various Colour
Nanofilm offers vacuum metallization machine that able to process most of the fashionable decorative coating that needed in today hand phone exterior, namely
• Non-Conductive Vacuum Metal (NCVM) coating
• Half mirror (semi-transparent) coating
• Almost all kind of metals including Cr, Ti, Al and etc with gold or silver metal color
• Electronic magnetic interference (EMI) shielding coating
Features of Vacuum Metallization Coating
Reflective and high gross housing • Wide range of products ranging from housing, button, side band and etc.
• Can be non-conductive

Features & Specification of Vacuum Metallization Coating System
The machine utilizes the linear magnetron sputtering technology with the following unique features
• Compare to normal sputtering, we are able to produce much brighter coating which is comparable to thermal evaporated coating
• Comparing to normal evaporation, we are able to produce much better film uniformity and repeatability ( ≤ ±5%)
• Unique ion beam cleaning to enhance the adhesion
• Offer semi-transparent coating with highest quality, transmission is tuneable and reproducible. Coating is clear and no foggy feeling
• Loading capability is almost twice of normal equipment
• Higher yield and lower consumable cost
The machine specification is outlined as below
• Linear magnetron sputtering source: 2 sets
• Target size:1250 x 145 x 15 mm
• Sputtering power supply: 10 KW DC 2 sets
• Vacuum chamber Φ 1500 x (H) 1400 mm
• Sample holder: either 2 swing doors or trolley system
• Diffusion Pump: 40000 L/s, 1 sets
