The semiconductor packaging industry drives towards “Green” electronic product by both legislation and market conditions.


For semiconductor molding operation, removing halogens such as chorine and bromine to the level that must each less than 900 ppm is the primary direction. After years of research in providing a winning solution to the industry – MiCC coating. It is field proven that the releasing property can be improved by more than 2 times if MiCC coating is used on mold surface.

  • MiCC is ideal for IC encapsulation mold, Rubber molding, molding of sticky, corrosive and difficult compound/resins.
  • CrN is good for molding of corrosive compound, sticky compound, maching of copper.
  • Vacuum H Cr is direct replacement for conventional chrome plating, environmental friendly yet low cost.
 
 
After shot count of approx. 100K shots mass production with MiCC™ coating. No peel off was found but minor sticking occurred. Stained marks were found. Cleaned and recoated with MiCC™ bottom cavity bar. Efficient cleaning process and reliable coating shows no sign of stain residues.
