CrN Coating

CrN has good properties characteristic for surface treatment of moulds that now has replaced the conventional (outdated technology) of Chemical plating of Cr. It is often applied on the cutting tools used to cut brass products, shape forming moulds, and mechanical parts which need good wear and corrosion resistance. Compare to TiN, CrN has better adherence and corrosion resistance. CrN coated Mechanical parts and Moulds will improve lubricity with wear resistance. CrN has higher surface hardness, lower coefficient friction and residual stress that make CrN adapt to the above characteristic.
